7" Tailors Clapper

I bought it on sale. One for myself and one for a xmas gift. $34.60 for 2 not including tax, etc. This product does a great job for flattening seams.

Makes for flat seams in quilts as well as garment sewing. Something you don't know you need until you use them.

These make flat seams easier to obtain . And they were the daily deal!

This is one of those notions you never knew you needed! Your seams lay very flat which makes a difference in very small quilt blocks. Also bought the 12" Clapper for larger blocks.

I've just finished a log cabin quilt. Without starch and the clapper, I'm afraid those one-inch sewn logs would have been all over the place. This is a great seam- and block-flattening aid.
