What I was looking for...

I was looking for a cosmetic bag that lays flat and this one fit the bill. The pattern is ok (3 stars+1 for video) and the video is helpful. I liked the booklet format. Neither the video nor the pattern explained which way to sew on the zipper. Should it be facing down or up when prepping it to sew? For sewists new to zippers good luck. The zipper parts get bulky and my heavy duty machine struggled a bit with the sides of the bag. It was a surprise to pay $5 for shipping something that would cost less than $1 to ship.

Difficult to make

I've made a lot of bags and have been sewing more than 40 years. This pattern was difficult to follow and confusing. I am not happy with the way it turned out and will not make it again.
