American Beauty Free Quilt Pattern by Leslie Sonkin
American Beauty features a flag made with appliqued stars and curved stripes in a 42 by 50 inch quilt. Leslie Sonkin’s design places white stars on a blue corner and curved white strips over a red background. Lightweight fusible interfacing supports the machine-applique pieces, with instructions also allowing hand applique. A striped inner border frames the flag, followed by a blue outer border with red corner squares and striped binding.
