Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Balance of Nature Quilt frames fussy-cut dogwood flowers with successive bands of prints from Jessica Levitt's Timber collection. The 66.5-by-81-inch design offers exact cutting measurements for the illustrated arrangement or an alternative method that trims larger blocks to place their centers more randomly. Bamboo-print strips frame the blocks, and narrow sashing joins them in four columns. An outer dogwood border and double-fold binding complete the quilt around the framed flower centers.

Balance of Nature Free Quilt Pattern by Jessica Levitt quilt pattern summary

  1. Fussy-cut the dogwood centers and prepare the framing strips. Choose either the exact block measurements or the larger-piece method for more varied center placement, keeping directional prints aligned.
  2. Sew the first frames around the centers, then add the wider block pieces. Trim as required by the selected method and add the bamboo-print frames.
  3. Join the blocks into four columns with sashing and connect the columns with longer sashing strips. Add the outer borders, layer, quilt and finish with double-fold binding.
