Bluestone Walkway Free Quilt Pattern by Deborah Hearn
Bluestone Walkway combines twenty-five blocks with light sashing and a mitered navy stripe border. The blocks begin with paired light and dark squares, which are sewn and cut into triangle units before navy-and-white strips are added. Twenty-five fat quarters supply the assortment of block fabrics, while the tan-and-navy print separates the blocks in five rows. The resulting 80 inch square quilt repeats the contrasting pieced units across its center and uses the navy-and-white print again for binding.
