- Fussy cut the cheater-cloth center around approximately four printed blocks across and six down. Leave a quarter inch beyond the outer block edges.
- Join the inner-border strips end to end. Measure the center, cut side borders to fit, sew them on, and then measure and attach the top and bottom borders.
- Join the outer-border strips and repeat the measuring and attachment process around the quilt center. Add the side borders before measuring the top and bottom pieces.
- Layer the top with batting and backing, baste, and quilt as desired. Finish with the designated binding strips.
