Stunning! Perfect as gift for framing as a wall hanging -- no quilting required

I'm not a quilter. I purchased this at my local fabric store in Seattle to give to my friend, an artist and Orca whale researcher. It required a finishing hem around the panel and will be gorgeous as a wall hanging in her art studio, where she builds ceramic wall pieces of Orcas, river otters, Pacific octopus, and other wildlife that lives here. Yes the panel is beautiful. I also purchased the pattern only to find MSQ does NOT carry all the material needed. Thinking about returning the panel, pattern and two fabrics that MSQ DID carry.
