Celebration Free Quilt Pattern by Valori Wells quilt pattern summary

  1. Print and check the two triangle templates, then trim the center panel around its image. Cut the squares and triangles with the indicated grain directions.
  2. Sew matching and reversed triangles into the star-point units. Combine those units with center and background squares to make twenty-eight Star Blocks.
  3. Join seven stars into each side row and attach them to the panel. Make the top and bottom star rows with their end rectangles, then add the outer border.
  4. Join the binding strips and prepare the backing. Layer, quilt and trim the top, then finish the binding by hand or machine.
