Nice pattern, but a tough one for me. I am not as good as I had hoped. LOL

Well, I guess I should have decided to make something else, because it didn't turn out like it shows on the pattern. I think I just stink st sewing projects. I tried.

Clever design, but...

The instructions were not written as well as they could have been. I'm an experienced bag maker and was able to work out the more confusing steps, but I shouldn't have had to. There are lots of pictures, but they're never of the more intricate and complicated bits of the pattern. I was also not best pleased to find the video tutorial costs nearly 3 times the price of the pattern. And I hope someday to find out why the pattern instructions and the photos of the finished wallet show one of the...

Terrible Instructions

The pattern instructions are written in a way that made me second guess if I was doing it the correct way. Turns out I wasn’t . Her tutorial was too expensive for me to purchase. ($36 or so). Nothing on MSQ to assist me in making it. Will not buy patterns from her again. Way too confusing. I have moderate sewing skills and really didn’t expect it to be so complicated. I bought the bucket bag kit and won’t even attempt to make it.

Folded Wallet

The pattern is easy to understand and the pieces have accurate measurements. The hardware for the purse/wallet make a very finished product. I made two wallets and gave them to my daughters. They immediately filled them, wore them out shopping and were quite happy with the finished product. This instructions could have included a sheet of tabs with the names of each piece that could be cut apart and pinned to the pattern pieces as they were cut. I did this with sticky notes. i did find it...

Chatelaine multi-featured wallet pattern

It's a great pattern, exactly what I need for a trip. I did however find the pattern instructions a little hard to follow. I like the finished product. I purchased the hardware kit that goes with it which made that part of the assembly easy.

Great Wallet Style Crossbody

Was a challenge because of all the layers of fabric to sew through. I waited for someone else to finish hers before starting mine. The pattern instructions were not the easiest to follow and her pictures lacked clarity. I studied lots of photos of other completed purses so I know mine is made the way it was intended. I love the result. Great to take for an evening out when you don’t want to carry much.
