All you need to begin is two packages of 5" print squares, 1 1/4 yards of background fabric, some insulated batting, purse strapping, and hook and loop to close. It's so much fun to create and it makes a great gift, too!

Excited to create with Kaffe Fassett fabrics

I'm planning to make this in a few different color ways. The first is for myself. I'm planning on this sized smaller for 9"x9" casserole dishes also. I will use less magic circles length wise. For mine, I'll use Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Should be beautiful. If I enjoy the process, I'll sew up more for gifts.

I have the 10 and 5 inch cathedral templates. I just want to try to make the casserole cozy. I’ll use the 5 inch one for this one! There are more uses for the templates.

I'm afraid it's beyond my ability😏

I don't have the half circle tool. I'm sure it should be easy. Maybe I'll tackle it some day with just squares but too much to think about right now. It is such a great idea but I haven't quilted in years since I made baby quilts for grandchildren, who are all grown up now. I had lots of help from my teachers at an Iowa quilt shop then I am now in Northern IL. Love youe internet site though, thank you. It looked so easy on video🙄
