Coastal Beacons Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Coastal Beacons features pieced lighthouse blocks surrounded by sashing and pinwheel cornerstones. Designed by Wendy Sheppard with Cassandra Zaniboni’s Rocky Coast collection, the intermediate quilt finishes at 78 x 90 inches. The lighthouse units combine striped sections, beacon tops, flags, and bases in several fabric combinations. Three rows of blocks make the center, while a narrow inner border and a wider outer border frame the lighthouse arrangement and its pieced cornerstones.
