Colonial Sunrise Free Quilt Pattern by Karen Witt
Colonial Sunrise arranges five groups of pieced blocks around a separate center block in a 70-inch-square quilt. Karen Witt uses purple, red, yellow, cheddar, and green fabrics from the New Colonies collection. Squares, rectangles, and triangles form the different blocks, each finishing at eight inches. The blocks are joined in rows according to the layout, then framed by successive red, cheddar, and green borders that complete the quilt top.
