Cottage Stars are going to fall in Kentucky for Christmas gifts!

I love the Cottage Stars table runner. I’ve made three so far. The pattern is easy to understand, and it goes together quickly. It was my first time trying a wonky star, so I had to practice them before I got the hang of them. A great table runner! You should try it too.

Read Carefully

Do be careful with these blocks. They will not fit across the length of the quilt correctly unless you trim them down significantly before stitching together in a row. You can see from my photo that 9 little house blocks with careful 1/4" seams and following along with pattern and tutorial can get 'cha in trouble. I may have to eliminate a tiny house and add a Christmas tree. But, there is a first time for everything. All other aspects of MSQC are excellent.
