Country Life is an intermediate quilt by Marsha Evans Moore featuring Lush Life fabrics. Fussy-cut bird motifs appear within triangle-pieced blocks, which alternate with lighter blocks in diagonal rows. Narrow sashing and small cornerstones separate the blocks, while triangle units complete the outside edges. Two borders frame the quilt, finishing at 57.5 inches square. The pattern supplies a triangle template and shows the different bird orientations, block variations and arrangement of the diagonal rows.

Country Life Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore quilt pattern summary
- Print and check the triangle template. Fussy cut the bird motifs in the illustrated orientations, then cut the other triangles, sashing and border pieces.
- Join triangle pairs into the dark and light block variations. Make the separate triangle units used around the edges.
- Arrange the blocks and edge units in diagonal rows with sashing and cornerstones. Sew the block rows and sashing rows, then join them together.
- Measure and add the two borders. Layer with batting and backing, baste, quilt as desired and bind with the N strips.
