I have used this specific size ruler and purchased as gifts since it is so functional. The only reason I am buying a new one after only 5 years is mine was "lost" at a sewing event.

I like the non slip back on all the creative grids rulers as I broke my arm and then had shoulder replacement and my arm is not back to normal.. it's been a year and a half and I was unable to hold my old rulers without them slipping. With the creative grids rulers I can actually accurately cut fabric again. The only thing I do not like is the extra quarter inch all the way around. I guess that's just a matter of getting used to it.

Like all Creative Grids rulers, It's a good ruler for the job it's designed to do. I do however prefer the colour of the Missouri Star rulers. They are easier to see and work with.
