This 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" Square Quilting Ruler by Creative Grids provides everything you need for easy and accurate measuring and cutting! It features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1” grids and marked in ?” and ¼” increments. Horizontal and vertical lines clearly show the center of the ruler, and a diagonal line makes trimming half-square triangles and flying geese units easy and accurate. The ruler slides over fabric until pressure is applied. Then, its grip feature holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miscuts.

From Now On

I've used many brands of acrylic templates and Creative Grids is by far the best. You get used to the numbering on whichever one you are using. But what's a cut above with Creative Grids is the etching on the back that helps the ruler grip your fabric. I'm tired of my rulers, especially the largest and the smallest, slipping on the fabric I'm trying to cut. I'm very happy to have new rulers from Creative Grids whenever I get the chance.
