So confusing!

The package arrived in a timely manner, and I was so excited to start this baby quilt. It is the first quilt kit I have purchased so I was eager to see how much quicker the process could be with a kit. The directions were for 2 similar quilts made of cotton. This quilt has flannel, and there are little notes about how to make it in flannel in the pattern. The pattern says to follow the directions for the 2 colors quilt. Yet the kit has a different color fabric for each center square. It would...
