    Dashing Nine-Patch Quilt Pattern

    I love that there is a tutorial to go along with almost all of Missouri Star's patterns. They make it look so easy. I often watch the tutorial several times before and while making it. I also love that the patterns are very often on sale.

    Pattern was fun to do but my outcome was U-G-L-Y!

    I was excited to do this pattern after seeing Misty make it on a Triple Play. I purchased the pattern immediately & got started. I was excited about the layer cake I picked and thought that the purple blender would make a great alternative for a white/cream background. Was I ever wrong. I can say that I truly think this is the ugliest quilt that I've ever made. The pattern I will make again but this has taught me to forever rethink the background!!!
