Day at Sea Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Day at Sea combines sailboat blocks and pinwheel borders in a 75 x 91 inch quilt designed by Wendy Sheppard. The intermediate project features Villa Sol by Jennifer Moore of Monaluna and requires template piecing for the sails. Five sailboat variations are repeated through the center, separated by white sashing. Pinwheel blocks form one of the surrounding borders, with additional plain borders completing the layout. Azure fabric from the collection is used for the binding.
