Dear Santa - Santa Snow Panel

I loved Natalie's idea of embroidering over the faux redwork and am working on that now. This will be a fun holiday quilt with a special personal touch. It's easy embroidery and has been the perfect project to get me started with hand sewing again.

Am loving this embrodiery project. Slow and steady in the evenings so I have it ready as a quilt center panel to work on in September as a full sized quilt. Excited for the end product.

I personalized it for my daughter. Folded the top to fit a rod. Hemmed sides and bottom. Then attached a red cord for hanging. It's gorgeous 🥰. Just can't wait for Christmas to give to her.

This Santa is great by itself but to embroidery it, it comes alive.

I am couching with my longarm to fill in the Santa and it’s coming out adorable I think. Nice cloth, nice print and I’d buy it again…..I might have to as my grown kids are wanting it for themselves. Lol

I have colored it and outlined it with embroidery thread. Deciding where to go from here.

Love it! It is so big, I think it will take me three years to get it completely done, but that is okay - I am slow but I love it and will love it when I am finished.

I have never done anything like this before but it came just beautifully..I have taken it to a friend to long arm I am so excited to get it back.

i’m loving working on it right now! it’s adorable and when i’m finished, i can’t wait to add a border to it. i’d love to see how others have finished their’s!
