Featuring a magnetic snap, an inside zipper pocket, and outer slip pockets, this roomy tote has plenty of slots for everything you need. To make this project, pick up 1 1/4 yards exterior fabric, 3/4 yard lining fabric, and 1 1/2 yards accent fabric. You’ll also need 1 package of Bosal Craf-Text Double-Sided Fusible Plus, a 24” Missouri Star Fancy Zip, 2 1/2 yards of Pellon Shape-Flex, and a 3/4” magnetic snap. You’ll be SEW proud of your finished bag!

Loved this bag

The bag was pretty easy to put together but I also used the tutorial. The binding was a struggle! I think I’m going to change how I do it next time. And there will be a next time.

Love this pattern. So much fun to make. Made one for each of my daughters who are knitters.

My bag turned out nice. The pattern was a bit confusing and binding a bag is not like binding a quilt. I am a relatively inexperienced sewer and I learned a lot by referencing you tube video’s to get it to the finish line.

I bought this pattern and then decided to modify the dimensions. The bag I made is bigger and has more pockets instead of the mesh zipper bag inside. This was a good learning experience since I had never made a bag before. The video was very useful. You'll need a powerful machine to sew through all the layers and the binding. Overall, very nice!

I really like the size of the tote and the versatility of the pattern. The only thing I wish this pattern had was an option to make a zipper closure for the top of the bag. Otherwise, it is just the pattern I was looking for.
