Pattern poorly written

I have been a bagmaker for 3 years now and have at made at least 100 patterns in that time frame. Unfortunately, this pattern is very hard to follow. I kind of just used the measurements as a guide and ended up having to make my own instructions. From what I understand, you will have a removable base. This pattern would highly benefit from a video tutorial.

I was confused

I have been sewing for well over 50 years. I have made prom dresses, men's sports coats, dresses. aprons, quilts, halloween costumes galore.... not a novice here but I found the pattern a bit confusing. It wou8ld have been better to have the pieces identified differently and not just by size.

I made this caddy for my granddaughter when she returned to college this fall to attach to her dorm bunk bed. I used left over fabrics from the graduation quilt I made her . Since it was a pdf download I could get it finished in time before she left for college.

Bedside Caddy

I loved the design, however, if I did not have a lot of experience sewing I would have never been able to put this together. The pattern needs to be re-worked with more detail on how to put the caddy together. Ended up with 2 useful Bedside Caddies for my grandchildren's loft beds, but will not tackle again. Too bad.
