My first quilt

Not quite done yet but I feel this pattern could be simpler. For instance, the 180 rotation mentioned only seemed to be used for one block but you have to interpret the diagram to figure that out and the 1/2 trim off half of the columns was tricky. Also recommend swapping steps 4 &5, beause it is much easier to adjust the color layout before the sashing is added.

Easy Peasy pattern

The Boardwalk pattern is easy to follow and would be great for a beginning quilter. My only problem is that my brain struggles with scrappy, but I am taking on the challenge! The tutorial for this pattern is so helpful. I enjoy all the tips in the videos.
