Remember the classic board game Candy Land? We couldn't help but be reminded of skipping from space to space on that brightly colored gameboard through a landscape of delicious treats when we created this playful paper pieced quilt. It's pure eye candy! Start with one roll of 2 1/2" print strips, add on one roll of 1 1/2" background strips, along with just over a yard for the border, and you're sure to win the game!
Looking good though my seams are less than perfect. I bought pattern on big sale or else follow instructions on app

Loved this pattern!
I'm new to quilting, and wanted to make something bright and happy for a friend. This was the perfect thing. The pattern is so easy to read, and the tutorial was very helpful. I love Missouri Star, and all of the encouragement everyone shows.

Difficult
I have made all kinds of MSQC quilts. I could not get this pattern to work for me. I had to add an extra row to the strip units. I had to fight to get 10” blocks even with the extra row. Also, I gave up on the papers and just sewed the patchwork. I did finish it and it looked good, but was a struggle.

Candy Lane Paper-piecing pattern
This is my very first try at paper piecing, and I am finding it very enjoyable to work on. I’ve only made one block so far b/c I had some other quilts to finish. But I just had to do one complete block to see if I would like going the paper piecing, and I certainly did!

Great pattern
I'm using a patriotic jelly roll for the 2.5" strips and white 1.5 inch strips. I love how easily this pattern comes together.

Candy Lane Quilt Pattern
I keep buying patterns and fabric but I'm so backed up with things to finish ,lol I calculated and I think I'll be 150 years old before I get to use everything I've purchased and that I'd if I stop buying! Haha but I love this pattern and I know I will make it eventually and I love all of MSQC'S PATTERNS! Who doesn't ? Right!!

Candy Lane Quilt Pattern
The minute I saw Jenny's tutorial for the Candy Lane Quilt Pattern, I knew I had to have it. I haven't made it yet as I have a few quilts in progress that I need to finish. I have many patterns from Missouri Star. The patterns are easy to understand and they use precuts which make cutting easier, and if you use their templates it's even easier. I love Missouri Star Quilt Company!
