    I have mace this quilt once before and I’m making another one that’s. Wry different. I’m using green checks instead of a solid. It’s all cut and ready to sew. The 20 inch blocks are great and it’s so

    Update: new Quilter

    It’s finished! I decided to make the king quilt 5 rows of 5 squares. It’s a bit long but that’s better than too short. Thank you MSQ for supplying a good pattern for a beginner. Instructions were easy to follow and I enjoyed learning while working on this project. I think it turned out very nice!!

    New Quilter gives thumbs up

    I am brand new to quilting. This is the very first quilt pattern I’ve used to learn to “piece”. I am working on a king size using blacks, whites & grays. The blocks are striking! The pattern is pleasant to the eye (presents symmetry ). I am making 20 blocks-19 finished so far. I have my fingers crossed that my sewing won’t be too wonky when I begin sewing blocks into rows. I have also used this pattern to make a table topper for a house warming gift. I think it’s beautiful! I’m loving the overall look of the churn dash. I’m sure I’ll use this pattern again.
