Great Pattern with distinctive design

I love the easy way you can built the braided section on this placemat. It is a simple procedure, when you learn how to do it. I used a whole array of green fabrics to make a set of two placemats and I just love them! Thanks for a great design!

It’s fine

I made the half hexi from my stash and used a coordinated colour for the body of the place mat, then bound with scraps from the same colours as the half hexi. Made 6 place mats and very pleased with the result.
