I made this for my first quilt and really enjoyed the process. I thought the instructions were easy to follow and having a video explaining the process helped a lot too (the only tricky bit was getting my head around inches and yards when buying fabric because we use metric measurements here). I was nervous about binding it but found a super helpful Missouri Star Quilt Co tutorial on youtube and it ended up being a lot easier than expected. My quilt has some imperfections but that is through my lack of precision not the pattern, and it was a really good learning experience. I’m looking forward to my next one now!

I love the digital downloads but will buy printed patterns as well. This is an easy pattern, to read, to make and teach another. It was a breeze to make and turned out great for a young quilter.

It's always so easy to download patterns from the website and I don't have to wait! The 9 patch is SO versatile. Easy to follow directions makes it even more enjoyable.

Loved the pattern.

I would suggest trimming your long strips prior to attaching them in the final step of constructing the block. It makes it easier to assemble.
