This was so easy to follow. Making it for my Grandson, using white cloud fabric as background. My son is a pilot (small planes) and flight instructor, so it's perfect for them. Can't wait to get it quilted and finished. The top came out beautifully, in spite of all my mistakes!

The download is perfect but the price of the freight on the template was ridiculous. I am still working out how I can do the plane body using a paper template.

It saved a quilt. I had it started and lost the original copy. so I now have the quilt top all put together. Looks nice.

I did not manage to make the entire quilt, one Block was perfect for a pillow case I made for two little boys who became big brothers in January . The Baby girls got a Star shaped snuggling cloth, the Patents a burp-cloth, Misty showed in one of your triple-days, and everybody was happy! Most of all, me because it was so much joy to make everything.

Love this pattern. I am using the Pan Am layer cake to make this for my son who is wanting to go to flight school after college. I have only been sewing for a few months and I have finished the first 6 blocks in just a couple of hours. I love how simple the pattern is and they are much quicker than I expected.

Great pattern for boys or anyone who is into flying. Easy to follow and very clear instructions even though I have only read them. Now to find time to make it.

I enjoyed making this quilt. I felt like the instructions were easy to follow, and once you got the hang of cutting them out, chosing the material was the hardest part of the whole thing. I made mine much simpler and smaller for a 3 year old who loves airplanes. The backing was a velour type of dark blue. I'm giving it to him at Christmas, so we'll see how he likes it.
