    Did it my way!

    My intention was to follow the pattern but I had a hard time cutting the words apart. One word builds on another and who am I to chose which words someone will need on a particular day; so I decided to leave the word panel whole and come up with something that brings honor to those in the fight for their lives.

    Words have power

    I just finished the top and it took much longer than I thought it would but I really like it. Once I started to make the flying gees 4 at a time it went much faster and more accurately. I used fabric from my scrap pile so it was an inexpensive project. Very happy with the results.

    Words have power

    I haven’t started this quilt yet, it’s for my Granddaughter 18th birthday. I have the words panel and I’m putting them together in the stars only. I can’t wait to start .

    Enjoyable!

    I have all the pieces cut for the star blocks and beginning to sew them together. The video helps tremendously. Love the shortcuts!
