Get uniform seam widths using this handy magnetic quilting and sewing notion. No more marking or measuring your project. Place the guide on your machine's metal throat plate. You can adjust the stitch width by simply moving the guide. For continuous straight seams, butt fabric against the 1/4" high x 1-5/8" long solid metal fence which won't allow the fabric to shift as it reaches the needle. Contains a magnet; check your machine manual before using.

Amazing tool

This is a great help especially as I am getting older and my eyesight is challenged with small details. Now I have a guide rather I am not struggling to see the lines on the base plate.

Seam guide

I bought the magnetic seam guide for my 9 year old granddaughter who is learning to sew. I hope it makes it easier to sew a straight seam. Tape on the sewing machine bed has not worked very well.
