Description:

Ezekiel's Wheel uses sixteen curved blocks in a 62-inch-square quilt featuring Moonstruck fabrics. Each block joins two partial ring shapes to a quarter-circle base and a shaped background. Four rows of four blocks form the center, surrounded by strip-pieced inner borders, square cornerstones, and a wider print border. The pattern provides blue and brown fabric combinations, along with background, ring, and quarter-circle templates for the same quilt design.

  1. Transfer the background, partial-ring, and quarter-circle templates to template material. Cut the background and curved pieces for the selected blue or brown fabric combination.
  2. Join the two partial-ring pieces, sew them to the quarter-circle base, and add the shaped background. Mark and pin the centers and straight edges while making sixteen blocks.
  3. Arrange the blocks in four rows of four. Add the strip-pieced inner borders with their cornerstones, followed by the outer print borders and corner squares.
  4. Piece the backing, layer it with the top and batting, and quilt. Join the binding strips into one length and bind the quilt.
