Facets Cool Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day quilt pattern summary
- Cut the rectangles, corner squares and sashing strips by fabric letter. Mark the corner squares and keep the fabric groupings organized for each row.
- Sew the marked squares to the rectangle corners, trim and press to complete the blocks. Save the trimmed triangles if making the optional scrappy backing.
- Sew the blocks into the six specified rows. Join and trim the sashing strips, then sew the rows together with their matching sashing.
- Choose yardage backing or piece the saved triangles into the optional backing center and add its surrounding pieces. Layer, quilt and bind the quilt.
