- Cut the background and border pieces, then sew the pink and striped borders around the center section. Prepare freezer-paper circles in the listed sizes.
- Gather the fabric edges around the paper circles and press. Attach the small center circles, stitch the larger circles to the background, and remove the paper through the back.
- Arrange and stitch the remaining circles. Piece the outer border from triangle-and-square units, attach the side borders, then add the top and bottom with their corner squares.
- Join the backing panels, layer and baste the quilt, and quilt. Make the straight-grain French-fold binding and finish it by hand or by stitching in the ditch.
