Floral Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day
Floral frames a group of printed portraits with successive borders, alternating broad prints with narrow floral stripes. The stripe borders have mitered corners, while the other rounds use straight joins. Stacey Day designed this advanced-beginner quilt with Pompadours in Pink fabrics by Carolyn Gavin. It finishes at 60 by 62 1/2 inches, using a fussy-cut section from the portrait panel as its center and a separate Daisy Check binding around the outside.
