Flower Press - Stamped Stone Yardage

A nice print in two tones, I think it would be good as a background. I plan to used it with some Aboriginal prints as it reminded me of tracks left on a sandy ground, it will also add a restful place with the more detailed and active prints of that theme.

Most of the prints I selected for my project were because I wanted some earthworks to go with the Aboriginal prints collected. I wanted something that would show earth surfaces of the outback. It is easy to find greens in fabric. Not so easy to find something to represent the arid land. I liked this piece as it reminded me of trails that man and creatures may leave as they travel and hunt.
