Forget-Me-Nots Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day quilt pattern summary

  1. Print the corner and side foundations at full size and check their scale squares. Cut and label the fabrics using the block chart so each color group stays together.
  2. Foundation piece the corner and side units, then remove the papers. Piece the nine-patch centers and combine the components into twenty-five blocks.
  3. Arrange the blocks on point with sashing and setting triangles in seven diagonal rows. Join the rows, trim the sashing ends and add the outer border.
  4. Join the bias-binding strips, layer and baste the quilt, then quilt as desired. Trim the extra backing and batting and finish the binding on the back.
