Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Fruitopia Table Runner uses the printed on-point squares in Fruit Mandala fabric to create a pieced appearance along its length. Two carefully trimmed fabric sections join at an angled seam, and narrow floral borders follow the pointed ends. The advanced-beginner project features Fruitopia by Helen Godden and finishes at 10 by 66 inches. Its fabric plan uses a pear print for binding, while the instructions show how to preserve the printed square sequence through cutting and assembly.

Fruitopia Table Runner Free Pattern by FreeSpirit Fabrics quilt pattern summary

  1. Fussy cut two strips with the dark on-point squares centered across their width. Trim opposite ends along the illustrated square edges, keeping the seam allowance beyond the motifs.
  2. Align the angled ends of the two center strips and sew them together. Join the floral border strips into two long pieces and attach one along each long edge.
  3. Trim the floral borders even with the angled ends. Prepare the binding, layer and quilt the runner, and complete the edge by hand or machine.
