Fuzzball Flowers Free Quilt Pattern by Susan McDermott
Fuzzball Flowers combines appliqued petals with soft Cuddles centers on sixteen muslin blocks. Feedsack II prints supply the petals and the small squares and strips that join the flowers into a 51 by 55 inch quilt. The petals can be prepared for hand applique or with fusible web, while the Cuddles centers are stitched without fusing to preserve their fuzzy texture. Quilting around the blocks and flowers completes the design, with plaid fabric used for the binding.
