Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Garden Palette surrounds large half-square triangles with smaller matching triangle units to make forty-two framed blocks. Lucy A. Fazely designed the advanced-beginner quilt with Art of the Garden fabrics by Sanderson. The blocks are arranged in seven rows of six, with their print colors following the illustrated layout. A narrow inner border and wider floral outer border frame the patchwork. Twelve-inch finished blocks build an 84 by 96-inch quilt, completed with a coordinating binding.

Garden Palette Free Quilt Pattern by Lucy A. Fazely quilt pattern summary

  1. Cut and group the large and small squares by fabric. Mark the diagonals and sew the paired squares to make the large and small half-square-triangle units.
  2. Piece the small triangle units into the framing strips and join them around the large triangle centers to complete the blocks.
  3. Arrange the blocks in seven rows of six, keeping their fabric positions aligned with the layout. Join the rows and add the narrow and wide borders.
  4. Join the binding strips and layer the quilt with batting and backing. Quilt, trim the extra layers and finish the bound edge by hand.
