Lovely with large floral prints

I made two quilts from this pattern a long time ago in a class at In the Beginning store. They are lovely. The key I think is getting a print with large flowers with lots of white space so that you can position the floral squares with the white toward the outside edges of the quilt. Then the pattern seems to float the florals. I used decorator floral prints with very large flowers. It is a pretty pattern that comes together well. Use a planning board to get the placement right and it will be a gem for you.

Like a trellised flower garden

Fun pattern with a little bit different design than standard run-of-the mill quilt patterns with a beautiful outcome. Can never wait to see what innovative ideas Missouri Star quilt will offer next!
