She wanted purple!

Just made this for one of my granddaughters. It was a bit of a challenge , only because I used so many different fabrics. It's on the way for quilting now. I did the same one in all brown batiks for one of my sons. It was much easier.

Geese in Motion (also purchased binding tool)

Love, love, love this pattern! It looks challenging, but is actually very easy. Made one for a granddaughter who just graduated high school and will be playing college basketball, in her college colors. Couldn't resist inserting a few basketball strips. Used mostly fat quarters and scraps. Also made a second for my husband. Remarkable how different they look just by changing up the colors. I'm a beginning quilter but experienced seamstress.

I added extra borders

I really like this pattern! The method was very well explained, and it went together very easily. I used the HSTs from the ends of each long piece to make the inner border for my quilt. The middle and outer borders are from my stash.
