Absolutely S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G fabric!

This fabric brought tears to my eyes when I opened the box and saw it! It is one of the most beautiful fabrics I've ever seen. It reminded me of my mother who has passed & her love of roses. I was going to use it in the Drunkard's Path quilt pattern but decided instead to use "Alter Ego", a MSQC pattern that is an alternating 4-patch and Hourglass block. Gilded Roses are Beautiful

The fabric itself is top quality. It "feels" good like all super quilt fabric should feel. It's sturdy yet no snags or off-center prints. I've made lots of quilts for family and friends; sometimes the results are just "ugh". This one I am making for myself, just using the 10" squares in a simple pattern.
