Are you picking up these good vibrations? This groovy quilt block radiates outward from a center octagon, much like a pineapple block, but with a funky new twist. To begin you'll need one packages of 10" print squares and one roll of 1 1/2" background strips as well as just under two yards of background fabric. What a quilting sensation!

How beautiful it is

I made one sample block using the medium octagon and decided to try the same pattern using the small octagon template. I think the small octagon will be the basis for a raffle quilt that I will make using the Radiance fabric or colors that reflect autumn.

My MSQ Keepsake

This is going to be the keepsake quilt from my visit to MSQ! I bought Tula Pink for this one. Loved the triple play video. Can't wait to start. LAQ'd 2 and bound. One more to go before I can start. It will be a labor of love from my visit with my sister and niece. What great things MSQ has done in Hamilton. It was a bucket list trip and I enjoyed every minute of it!
