Graphic Rhythms Free Quilt Pattern by Gerald Roy
Graphic Rhythms brings Gerald Roy's music-inspired fabric designs into an approximately 52-by-62-inch pieced quilt. Four-patch and triple-square blocks combine with half-square triangle units around a central nine-patch arrangement. Matching top and bottom sections and matching side sections organize the patchwork into a larger composition. A narrow inner border and wider outer border frame the blocks, with a separate binding fabric finishing the perimeter. The fabric collection draws on Roy's linear drawings made while listening to music.
