Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Greet the Day! places two printed scenes beside sunflower strips and checkerboard piecing, surrounded by a border assembled from several fabrics. Jean Ann Wright’s beginner-level quilt features Lori Siebert’s Greet the Day collection and finishes 46 inches wide by 30 inches high. Additional framed pictures are fussy-cut and topstitched onto the border. Alternating brown fabric strips form the binding, carrying another part of the collection around the finished edge.

Greet the Day! Free Quilt Pattern by Jean Ann Wright quilt pattern summary

  1. Fussy-cut the two large scenes and sunflower strips, then cut the checkerboard squares and border pieces. Cut the smaller framed scenes with a pinking rotary blade.
  2. Join the scene units with sunflower and checkerboard strips, then add the remaining center and border sections. Position the fussy-cut pictures around the border and topstitch them in place.
  3. Layer the top, batting and backing, then baste and quilt. Alternate the two designated brown fabrics in the binding strip, fold it lengthwise and stitch it around the quilt.
