I have used chalk or pencils to make my marks for piece quilting. I used the heat erase pen for the first time and I was surprised at how well it worked. I think this maybe a staple in my quilting arsenal.

It's like magic

I bought 4 of the heat erasable pens and I wish I had bought more. I use a lot of white fabric and my eyes are not the best anymore and now I use the black erasable pins to mark the the right side of the fabric and not worry about it showing because when I iron the fabric the marks disappear just like magic.
