I like it! This is the first pattern I have purchased and it has been pretty easy to follow. I tweaked it by changing the size of the squares from 10” to 8”. The top is still plenty big. The only thing I don’t like is that no matter how hard I try to accurately measure my
8” squares and sew a perfect 1/4 inch seam, my half triangle squares are a little off but not enough to ruin things. I think I can absorb the slight differences in the seam allowances. I’m getting ready to sew all the blocks together into vertical rows and then will sew the rows together. So I’m only half done. All I have done in the past is foundation paper piecing and English paper piecing which is very precise and square. So it has been a little adjustment to use a pattern like this. I hope when I am done that the whole top will be easy to square up. 😊
