Hexagon Pinwheels Free Quilt Pattern by Debby Kratovil
Hexagon Pinwheels turns paired light and dark fabric strips into twenty hexagonal pinwheel blocks. Debby Kratovil’s design finishes at 48 by 44 inches and uses the extra-wide five-inch strips supplied in a Windham Basics Fat Roll. The blocks join in five horizontal rows with light setting triangles, using straight seams throughout. Large-check border strips frame the center, with red squares at the outer corners and small-check fabric specified for binding.
