High Noon Free Quilt Pattern by Hilary Bobker
High Noon celebrates the West with square blocks in four fabrics, strip-pieced sashing, and Nine Patch cornerstones. The blocks are arranged in diagonal rows and framed by three mitered borders, including two fussy-cut stripes chosen from the Round'em Up collection. Hilary Bobker's design measures 82 by 97 inches. Photographs accompany the piecing instructions and show how to match the border prints, trim the center, and handle the directional fabrics.

High Noon Free Quilt Pattern by Hilary Bobker quilt pattern summary
- Cut the print squares and setting triangles. Piece the light and medium leather-print strips into sashing and prepare the separate strip sets for the Nine Patch cornerstones.
- Crosscut the cornerstone strip sets and join them into Nine Patch units. Assemble the blocks, triangles, sashing, and cornerstones in diagonal rows according to the quilt picture.
- Trim the assembled center, leaving the seam allowance. Join and attach the three borders with mitered corners, matching the stripe repeats and keeping directional prints oriented correctly.
- Layer the top, batting, and backing, then quilt as desired. Prepare the bandana-print binding, attach it, and hand stitch it to the reverse.
