Quilting Product Description

This batting can't be beat! Hobbs Heirloom Premium is made with 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester. This needle-punched batting has a light resin bonding for strength and durability. Whether you quilt by hand or machine, the results are stunning! Best used with medium or dark fabrics and can be quilted 4" apart with minimal shrinking.

    Best for sewing

    I used this batting for a panel quilt for a gift. I had only used 100% cotton batting previously, and was pleased with how easy this was to sew with only a light basting spray; no shifting and the needle seemed to glide through the sandwich. I will reconsider my cotton only approach unless I am doing something that will encounter heat.

    Nice to have a source for batting !

    Very easy to work with. I am on limited income, so the cost is economical for this high quality of batting. I only use Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I love when it is on sale and I'm able to purchase more. Thank you.
